You’ll remember, Rivendell “owns” its audio library.

So, how do you get a whole huge pile of audio files, compact discs, vinyl records, etc. loaded into Rivendell's Library? Without pain? With accurate metadata?

Let’s start with the easy one: existing audio files with embedded metadata.

Batch Importing Existing Audio Files

Several possible techniques:

  • set up one or more Rivendell dropboxes (not the public cloud service)

  • use interns and RDLibrary
