Most of the hardware compatibility for Rivendell is dependant on the version of Linux that you are using.  For the base Linux install, you need to refer to the compatibility lists for the OS in use.  When it comes to Soundcards and Switchers, it is worth checking to see if the peripherals that you are planning on using are compatible with Rivendell.  The lists below are by no means complete and are meant to offer a starting point when making a choice.  They are based on users experiences rather than in depth testing.
